About me

My name is Jørn-Are Flaten and I work as a software developer and currently writing a master thesis in software development at the Western Norway University of Applied Science. In the master project i´m working on improvements to a computing grid middleware software JAliEn in the ALICE project at CERN.

I currently live in western Norway with my smart and beatiful girlfriend and our two great dogs.
